Nicole & Clarence
Nicole and Clarence may not call themselves coffee nerds, but regularly enjoy a good cup of coffee over heartfelt catchups and basically anytime they need to stay awake (mainly Clarence). For their wedding, they’ve partnered with The Discovery Company to share that joy with you - curating two single-origin specialty coffee drip bags for your enjoyment.
Coffee Bag with Blue Sticker
Washed Nicaragua, by Zero Coffee
Smooth and approachable, this single-origin brew carries toasted nut notes with a gentle lift of acidity. A “balanced” cup — even if Clarence is anything but! — that’s welcoming to every kind of coffee drinker.
COFFEE BAG WITH ORANGE STICKER
Natural Ethiopia, by Flip Coffee Roasters
Vibrant and playful, this single-origin ethiopoian presents with berry-like sweetness and a silky chocolate finish. Just one sip is as bright and joyful as Nicole’s signature smile.
These favours aren’t just coffee; they’re a taste of the couple’s warmth, laughter, and love.
Brewing tips are included so you can enjoy them to the fullest. And if this experience leaves you curious, discover more coffees, drip bags, workshops, and glassware at The Discovery Company website.
How to Use Coffee Drip Bags
How to use our coffee drip bags?
1. Tear open drip bag
2. Spread open coffee drip bag
3. Pour hot water over drip bag till mug is filled
4. Remove drip bag after 3 minutes
Can I make my drip bag coffee stronger or lighter in caffeine?
Yes! For a stronger cup (more caffeine and intensity), use less water or a smaller cup (150–180ml). For a lighter cup (milder flavor and lower caffeine per serving), add more water (200–250ml). You can also adjust by steeping a little longer before removing the bag.
What’s the recommended cup size for drip bags?
For the best balance of flavor and caffeine, we recommend using a cup that holds about 180–220ml (roughly the size of a standard café latte cup). If your cup is much larger, the coffee may taste diluted; if it’s too small, it may overflow when brewing.
Are drip bags as good as freshly brewed coffee?
Drip bags are designed to lock in freshness. They use the same specialty coffee beans that would go into whole-bean or ground bags, making them a convenient way to enjoy quality coffee anywhere.
