Designed by former World Barista Champion Saša Šestić, the NUCLEUS NCD (Nucleus Coffee Distributor) is a precision espresso preparation tool created to evenly distribute ground coffee in the portafilter before tamping.

Its patented four-blade design sweeps coffee across the basket to create a more level, consistently distributed bed — helping reduce one of the variables that can contribute to uneven extraction from shot to shot. Nucleus states that the NCD's patented design has also been scientifically tested at the Switzerland University of Applied Technologies.

Built entirely from metal with a substantial 386 g weighted feel, adjustable distribution depth and an anti-static coating, the NCD is designed to bring consistency and repeatability to both professional café and home espresso workflows.
